POSTER 1: PULP FICTION
The Pulp Fiction print-graphic poster captures the essence of this neo-noir crime drama with its nonlinear narrative and complex characters. Characters are arranged around a diner table in dramatic poses, evoking the movie’s nonlinear narrative and high-stakes tension. The composition uses a subtle, retro-inspired colour palette paired with bold typography to evoke the film’s pop culture impact and high-stakes atmosphere.
POSTER 2: ANGOOR
In contrast, the Angoor print-graphic poster embraces a lighthearted, whimsical tone with a vintage Bollywood aesthetic centred on mistaken identities and situational humour. At the core is an illusory house. Twin characters are mirrored through photo composites. The split poster design and colour grading reflect the narrative’s playful tone, while the incorporation of grapes serves as a visual motif tied to the movie’s title.
POSTER 3: TAXI DRIVER
The Taxi Driver-inspired poster focusing on the lead character, Travis, captures urban isolation and inner conflict through moody textures and rain-soaked streetscapes. The mirrored reflection subtly suggests Travis’s dual personality. The vertical checkerboard taxi motif anchors the composition, while muted tones complement the other two posters. The artwork is rendered on MDF with a hand-painted background, illustration layered vinyl, and Corten steel cutout lettering.
